A Chilly Evening on the Broadview Hotel's Rooftop

After hearing about how amazing the Broadview Hotel's rooftop was ALL summer, it was time to go. I was probably one of the last diners on that rooftop before it got too cold. Tee-hee. I had to see what the hype was all about! #fomo

In spite of the chill, I was able to convince someone to come with me. She did not, however, wear a coat, but was still willing to head up. Yay! Drinks and the patio heaters would keep us warm, right?

My pint of Blanche de Chambly had arrived just in time to order. My friend chose the Jerk Pork Ribs($16) and I had the Kofte Cauliflower Kebab($15). I went for healthy, but almost ate all of my friend's fries. They were so damn good, I almost ordered more! They cauliflower was great; seasoned just like meat kebabs! I polished that off in no time, obviously. The ribs looked juicy, meaty and came with a slice of jalapeno cornbread. Tasty!

The service was pretty good, even though it was cold out. They were still personable and quick! Our server did not abandon us in the cold and was rather cheerful! She said the menu changes often, so I figured these items might not be on it by the time I posted! Oops!

Some reviews mentioned small portions, but I did not see that on my visit. The quality of the food was great! Would love to come back when the good weather returns. Great view!

Come for the view, stay for the eats.
